Skeleton Track Information

The unfortunate characteristic of the Sherman to burn when it was hit frequently resulted in an intense fire that not only gutted the interior, but also frequently ignited the rubber tracks as well. Panda has worked with experts in the Sherman field to develop an accurate set of skeleton tracks from the original Ordinance drawings that is suitable for both the M3 and M4 series of tanks. In addition to the sight of skeleton tracks on burned out Grants, Lees, and Shermans, photographic evidence suggests that at least some Lend Lease M3s and M4s continued to be driven despite having all the rubber worn from the metal skeleton. Our track set includes enough skeleton track for both sides of the tank plus some spares, since unfortunately both tracks frequently burned through on knocked out M3s and M4s.
